SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -- A driver attempting to cross a flooded roadway got his car stuck in the water Thursday morning at Spangle Creek Rd and Smythe Rd.
Officials with Spokane County Fire District 3 said the car went into the water around 9 a.m. The driver was out of the car when crews arrived. He was not hurt.
Officials said 100 yards of the road were flooded.
A tractor was called to the scene to pull the car out of the water. The sheriff was reportedly giving the driver a “talking to” for trying to cross the flooded road.
