SPOKANE VALLEY-- Medics took one person to the hospital Thursday morning after a wreck in Spokane Valley.
It happened around 8:00 a.m. on I-90 between the Argonne and Broadway exits.
The Washington State Patrol says a driver cut off the victim, 20-year-old Alex Salyers, while trying to switch lanes. Salyers spun around and struck the barrier, causing him to face the wrong way in oncoming traffic.
The driver who caused the wreck fled the scene. Salyers was taken to Sacred Heart for minor injuries.
Traffic was backed up as crews cleared the scene. All lanes are now open.
