SPOKANE, Wash. – A couple months ago Dragoon Campground North of Spokane re-opened after financial cuts caused the campground to close back in 2010.
Thanks to the Department of Natural Resources and to a percentage of Discovery Pass sales the park was able to re-open after nearly being closed for four years.
Plenty of campers have already expressed how they love camping there and look forward to making the trip next year.
“If we had time we would’ve been here a couple more times. We really like this park,” said Richard Anderson, a camper who spent 10 years coming here in the past.
The good news for campers is the Department of Natural Resources staff has said Dragoon Campground will most likely open again next summer.
