DOWNTOWN SPOKANE, Wash.-- Shots fired on Wednesday led police to arrest two men near Riverside and Stevens Street.
Two officers patrolling the area heard gunshots in a near by alley. The officers stopped two men leaving the alley and questioned Jason Bagge and Mathew Vigil.
Bagge, 37, admitted that he was shooting at someone. A search of the area did not turn up any victims. However, police found a revolver in Vigil’s pants.
Vigil, 31, is a convicted felon and faces charges for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. The officers searched Vigil and also found illegal pills, cocaine, and large amounts of cash. Those items led to two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver.
A search of Bagge’s pockets produced a pair of brass knuckles. The officers arrested Bagge for Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
