SPOKANE, Wash.—The rapid rain and warm up in Spokane created massive puddles. Some walkers and bikers spent the day soaked.

“I got off the bus. Walked over to that light there. I had to stop to sneeze and I got it, right, right in the face,” said bus rider Robert McNeese.

McNeese does not think the splash in the face was an accident.

KREM 2 News’ Hayley Guenthner took to the streets to see if cars purposefully splashed walkers. She said the majority of cars did whatever they could to avoid soaking her. Guenthner said he did not get that lucky every time.

Guenthner said some drivers mouthed and “I’m sorry” while others were caught laughing.
