SPOKANE-- Spokane city officials say they could remove the ‘Do Not Occupy’ order at the Ridpath Hotel as early as next week.
In April, the city decided the building's fire system wasn't up to code. Tuesday developers updated code officials on their progress.
They hope to have the system up to par within a few days and start bringing business back to the property.
The Ridpath also still needs a proper security system.
