SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Gonzaga Bulldogs take on conference rival St. Mary’s for the first time this season at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Diehard members of the Kennel Club spent the night camped outside of the gym to get choice seats for the matchup.

About 15 tents were set up Thursday morning.

The students are braving the wet, windy weather to score the best seats in the house to watch the Bulldogs as they host the WCC rival.

“There are still a whole bunch of people who aren’t tenting because it’s pretty cold, so no one really wants to. Everyone [out here] is going to get good seats,” Obie Schwartzel, a junior, said.

The Zags took on St. Mary’s last in March. Gonzaga lost 78-74.

Tip off is set for 8 p.m.
The students lined up outside will be able to get in about an hour early, giving them just enough time to warm up and get pumped up for the big game.
