QUINCY, Wash. -- Authorities arrested a man for domestic violence and found an illegal marijuana growing operation on Sunday.

Grant County Sheriff’s deputies went to a home in the 800 block of Road H-Northwest around 4 p.m. Saturday to investigate a domestic violence call. At the scene, deputies saw jars of what appeared to be marijuana.

Narcotics detectives were called and a search warrant was served for the home and vehicles at the residence. Authorities found 89 jars of marijuana with a combined weight of 17 pounds. Deputies said the street value of the drugs is about $13,500. Detectives also seized 60 marijuana plants.

Deputies arrested Lorenzo Barajas, 30, for Suspicion of 4th Degree Assault/Domestic Violence, Suspicion of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver and Manufacture of Marijuana.
