NEZ PERCE COUNTY--The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office charged a man Wednesday with the crime of a murder.
Clearwater County Deputies had three people detained at the scene of a shooting in Peck when the Sheriff’s Office arrived. Two witnesses were questioned by Nez Perce County deputies and later released. A third person was held for questioning.

On Tuesday, deputies obtained a search warrant and entered a house where they discovered a dead person, identified as Coby John Bloodsworth, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
After more investigation, 27-year-old Christopher Jack Partee was taken to the Nez Perce County Adult Detention Center for questioning. Partee was charged with the crime of the murder in the second degree.
Partee was arraigned in magistrate court on Wednesday afternoon. He is being held on a charge of second degree murder with a firearms enhancement and a bond of $1 Million.
Partee’s preliminary hearing was set for February 26 at the court house in Lewiston.
