SPOKANE, Wash.--A thief was caught on camera Tuesday night breaking into a popular Mexican restaurant in North Spokane.

The thief took a big piece of brick and threw it through the window of DeLeon’s.

“We actually found this rock right under a pile of glass and he threw right through the window,” said Dwight DeLeon, Assistant Manager.

In the past year and a half, DeLeon’s has been broken into three times along with other crimes.

“Our trucks have been tagged, our building's been tagged, they've siphoned our gas a couple of weeks ago,” said DeLeon.

The crook was in and out of the restaurant in about one minute. He only took a few cartons of cigarettes.

Despite the nuisance of the crimes, DeLeon said his loyal customers are still coming.

“They've been giving us support all day and they've said they'd keep their eyes open,” said DeLeon.

If you know anything about the break in you are asked to call Crime Check. The number is 456-2233. The owner of DeLeon’s said if you can help him solve any of the crimes he will give you free tacos for a year.
