Spokane, Wash.-- Authorities shut-down lanes in both directions on Highway 395 Wednesday afternoon after a crash sent three people to the hospital.

Fire District officials said a red car traveling southbound with two adults and one baby crashed into a blue car that was crossing the highway near Crawford.

The two adults in the red car were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities had to cut-off the roof of the blue car to extricate a woman, who they transported to the hospital non-life threatening injuries.  Authorities said the baby was properly secured and appeared to uninjured.

Crews shut-down one lane in each direction to clear the scene.
