MOSCOW, Idaho—Newly released court documents show a former University of Idaho professor may have threatened to kill a woman other than Katy Benoit.
Police say Ernesto Bustamante shot and killed Benoit last week outside of her Moscow home and then later killed himself. Benoit was a graduate student at the Univeristy of Idaho.
Officials say Bustamante and Benoit were involved in a romantic relationship.
The court documents KREM 2 obtained Wednesday say more about Bustamante’s alleged multiple personality disorder. A friend claims he had six different personalities, and each had its own name.
That friend also says that Bustamante was once in his “psychopathic killer” personality, he talked about wanting to kill a woman. But that woman was not Katy Benoit.
Officials say there was also a domestic disturbance report between Bustamante and that other woman on file with the Moscow Police Department.
