SPOKANE -- Construction begins Monday on a new traffic light on Spokane's South Hill.

The new light is going in at 44th and Regal. People fought for a light there for about a year, saying it's too busy to make left hand turns onto Regal.

Expect lane closures and delays while that light is being installed.

The $265,000 project is being funded by State Environmental Policy Act Impact Fees and the City of Spokane.
