SPOKANE, Wash- Participating stores celebrated national Record Store Day Saturday, including 4000 Holes in Downtown Spokane.
The first celebration began in 2007 when independent record store owners and employees gathered to spread the word about their unique culture. Nearly 1,000 independently owned record stores began hosting events every third Saturday of April.
Record stores, including 4000 Holes, reserved special vinyl and CD releases for the event.
Festivities at different locations included performances, cook-outs, body painting, meet & greets with artists, parades, spinning records and more.
