COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho –A Jimmy John’s employee is in trouble with the law for allegedly setting up a robbery.
Police arrested Joshua Reed in connection to the robbery of a Jimmy John’s on May 3.
Authorities said Reed was the employee who reported the robbery at the restaurant on N. Government Way. Reed told police a male suspect forced him back into the business while he was taking out the trash.
He told police the suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded cash.

During the investigation, detectives were able to determine Reed set up the robbery and three other people helped him. Police have not arrested the other three suspects in the case.
Detectives recovered an air soft pistol used in the robbery and a bank bag that was taken from the restaurant.
Reed was arrested and charged with Burglary.
