SPOKANE, Wash.—The eighth annual Wardrobes for Women is back in Spokane and helping women with their job searches.

Program organizers collect clothing, and then sell it for a fraction of the cost.  Hard times are forcing many women into a tough situation.  The program helps them establish a professional wardrobe to help with the job search.  Organizers also plan to give out a few vouchers to women in need who will get to pick up some new outfits entirely free.

“We pay special attention to them as they come in and do shopping. We match them up. It's really all about making that day for them a special day,” said Inland Northwest Health Services employee Kathy Copson.

Organizers are accepting donations through September 2.  They are looking for career clothing only including suits, slacks, blouses, skirts, hand bags, and gently used shoes.  Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, between 8:30 A.M. and 12 P.M. at St. Lukes Rehabilitation Institute.

The big sale is scheduled for September 24 and 25.
