SPOKANE, Wash. -- Thousands across the country rallied today for a cleaner environment.
The largest rally happened in Washington D.C. and citizens in Spokane did the same. Participants gathered at the Fountain Plaza at Riverfront Park to urge President Obama to reject the Keystone oil pipeline.
The group argues that oil contributes to global warming and there could be spills that would harm the environment. Speakers at the Rally talked about what people can do to stop climate change and try to make the world cleaner.
The President has put the Keystone Pipeline Project on hold twice because of concerns about it's proposed route.
