(SPOKANE) -- Spokane Police say the driver of a Kinder Care bus will be cited in an accident that injured a six-year-old girl on the bus Friday morning. The accident happened just before 9 a.m. at Monroe and Rowan. Police say the bus was at a stop sign on Rowan when it pulled out in front of a pickup going north on Monroe. The pickup hit the bus on the right side.
The injured girl was among five children on the bus. Police say she has a minor injury; a bump on her head. All of the other children are okay.
Police say the bus driver will be cited for failure to obey a traffic device (stop sign).
