SPOKANE, Wash. -- Two people are suffering from minor injuries after being hit by a car in downtown Spokane Monday evening.
Officials said a car was going south on Stevens and was making a right turn on to 2nd when it struck two people.
One man and 1 woman in their 50s and 60s were crossing at the intersection of Stevens and 2nd when they were struck. Both victims suffered minor bumps and scrapes but were taken to the hospital to get checked out.
Police cited the driver for failure to yield.
