SPOKANE, Wash.-- The community held a candlelight vigil Friday night at the Rockwood Clinic on East Fifth Avenue to honor an employee who was shot and killed on the Deaconess Hospital campus earlier in the week.

Friends, family, and coworkers released purple balloons with messages to Sheena Henderson free into the sky.

Henderson’s husband entered the Cancer Treatment Center at Deaconess on Tuesday and opened fire on her before turning a gun on himself.  The couple leaves behind two children.
