SPOKANE -- Fire investigators say a fire burning on Beacon Hill was human caused. It is unclear if the fire was intentionally set.
The 10-acre fire was 100% contained late Tuesday night. Firefighters expected to remain on scene throughout the night to watch for hot spots.
Firefighters responded to reports of flames around 5:00 p.m. Wind fueled the flames that reached 5 to 10 feet high in some places. The fire jumped from tree tops.
One air unit assisted crews from Spokane Fire, Fire District 9, and Department of Natural Resources.
