WHITMAN COUNTY, Wash.— Thieves hit a Whitman County gun club and took off with more than cash.

The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office was investigating several reported break-ins at the Malden-Pine City Gun Club on Wednesday.

Authorities said it appeared the thief or thieves forced their way into the clubhouse. Missing items included four Remington shotguns, shotgun shells, a small amount of cash and cases of beer.

Club members said the guns were in a safe.

If you observed any suspicious activity near the gun club you are asked to call the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office.
