SPOKANE, Wash.--The Spokane County medical examiner has identified a teenager who died unexpectedly on a flight from Seattle.
Pilots made an emergency landing in Spokane Saturday with an unresponsive teenager on board. 16-year-old Zachary Bisiar and his family were on their way to Atlanta for a Christmas vacation.
Authorities said he went into cardiac arrest about 20 minutes into the flight. Spokane emergency crews worked for 40 minutes trying everything they could to revive him.
The cause of death is currently listed as pending further studies.
