PULLMAN, Wash. – Alcohol will now be served inside Martin Stadium.
The Washington State University Board of Regents approved the plan at Friday’s meeting.
The University will now be allowed to safely regulate the sale and consumption of alcohol at public events. That includes allowing alcohol in restricted areas of Martin Stadium.
The first level of the new three floor press box features a food lounge and bar that will sell beer, liquor and wine. Alcohol will not be sold in the student section of Martin Stadium and reportedly will only be accessible to ticket holders with premium seats.
WSU’s football home opener is September 8th at noon against the Eastern Washington Eagles.
