VANTAGE, Wash. (AP) -- The Grant County coroner is trying to identify the body of a man found Saturday in the Columbia River south of the I-90 bridge near Vantage.
The sheriff's office says the body was spotted by a boater and recovered by a Kittitas County marine unit.
Because the body had apparently been in the water a long time, it was sent to the King County medical examiner's office in Seattle for autopsy.
