BONNIE LAKE, Wash.-- The Whitman County Sheriff's Office is treating the investigation of a body that was found in Bonnie Lake Sunday afternoon as a homicide.
A fisherman discovered the body of an adult male in the creek about a quarter of a mile south of the lake, just north of Belsby Road.
Sheriff's Deputies say the body appears to have been there for quite some time. An autopsy has been scheduled.
The Sheriff's Office hopes to have a positive identification and cause of death later this week.
