LIBERTY LAKE-- Biggest Loser champion Ali Vincent ran the 2012 Valley Girl Triathlon in Liberty Lake Sunday

This was the first time Vincent’s participated in the all woman race.

The 600 competitors swam 1/3 of a mile, biked 12 miles and ran 3 miles. It featured elite racers, along with women of every age group.

Competitive racer Annie Warner came in first in just over an hour in Sunday's race.

Vincent said the great thing about this race is that allows women of all abilities to take part.

“You see every woman, and it’s every woman’s race. Anyone who ever wanted to do it, or thought about it can do this, and you see that one the course,” she said.

Director Marla Emde said one of her favorite parts of the race is the camaraderie among all the women.

Vincent hosts a weekly show teaching people how to live a better life. It airs on KREM 2’s sister station, the Live Well Network. Watch “Live Big with Ali Vincent” on channel 22.2 over the air and channel 116 on Comcast at 8:30 p.m. Thursdays.
