COLFAX, Wash.— Colfax High School went into lockdown on Friday when a student brought a BB gun to school. Authorities said the gun was not functional. Officers called it a “prop” and added that the student did not make any threats.
Another student reported the gun to school employees.
The lockdown lasted about ten to 15 minutes according to the Colfax School District Superintendent. Officers arrived and questioned the student. The Superintendent then said he then left with his parents and was placed on emergency expulsion.
