SPOKANE VALLEY -- Opening day for the Spokane Indians is June 14th, and this year Avista Stadium will open with some new upgrades.

The concourse received a $3.5 million renovation.  It includes a new team shop, new concession areas and a better ticket office.  It’s all designed to get you into the game, with a hot dog and a drink, faster.

There are also upgrades to the team offices and a new solar panel system which helps power the stadium with renewable energy.
