SPOKANE, Wash. – Authorities said a woman ran to the W. Shannon and N. Post around 1 p.m. Monday and stated that her car was stolen.

Authorities arrived on the scene and found a woman with numerous cuts and was bleeding from her face.

The woman told police she picked up the suspect, who she knew, in her car. She said the suspect assaulted her, pushed her out of the car and drove off in the car.

Spokane Police said the woman was taken to the hospital.

Officials said the car was found in the alley of Augusta and Post within minutes and took Tierra Walker, 32, into custody without incident.

Walker was booked into jail for First Degree Robbery and a felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled substance.
