PULLMAN, Wash.--Police said there was an attempted pharmacy robbery at a Pullman Rite Aid on Monday near S. Grand Avenue and Fairmont Road.
The suspect told the pharmacist and a pharmacist assistant that he had a gun and motioned as if he was holding a gun under his jacket, according to Pullman police. They said the suspect demanded pain killer prescription drugs.
The suspect fled the store as the pharmacist assistant was collecting the drugs, according to police. Pullman police said he left the store without the drugs.
The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, wearing a grey jacket with a WSU logo, knit beanie and blue jeans.
