SPOKANE, Wash. -- Volunteers from KREM 2 News, Asuris Northwest Health, and the National Guard raced to sort more than 6,100 tagged items for Spokane’s Tree of Sharing Friday.

Spokane’s Tree of Sharing is the largest in the world.  The last day to return donated gifts was Thursday.

This year’s goal was to provide 5,800 people in need with a gift.
