SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.--An armed robbery held the Community Health Association of Spokane (CHAS) near 10th and Pines on Monday.

Witnesses said the man was wearing a hoodie walked in around 10:00 a.m. The suspect asked for a surgical mask then approached staff at the pharmacy window according to deputies. Witnesses told deputies that the man showed a gun and handed them a note demanding narcotics. Deputies said the man was given drugs.

The suspect fled the scene on foot according to witnesses.

Deputies brought in a K9 to track the suspect, but the dog lost the trail.
 
CHAS employees reopened the clinic around 1:00 p.m. However, the on-site pharmacy will be closed for the remainder of the day. 

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest and RxPatrol are offering a cash reward of UP to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) believed to be responsible for this robbery.
