SPOKANE, Wash.—Murder suspect Brandon Mellon has been released from a Portland hospital and booked into an Oregon jail. Mellon allegedly shot and killed 48-year-old Arnold Allen Lommasson in his N. Astor Street apartment in January.

Police said Mellon drove to Pasco in a stolen car following the murder. A witness claimed Mellon fled Spokane to Pasco to get meth, not to run from police after the murder.
