Airplane reports blown tire, lands safely at Spokane International

AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash.-- Authorities responded to an in-flight emergency Wednesday morning at Spokane International Airport.

Fire crews set-up near the intersection of West Airport Drive and South Flint Road for an extrication call, just before 6 a.m. 

Flight crews on an Airbus 300 cargo-jet, scheduled to arrive from Portland, reported blowing a tire during departure, but landed safely according to Airport Police. Crews inspected the jet upon arrival and did not find any blown tires according to police.

Officers said no one was injured.
