SPOKANE --- Spokane Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a coffee stand early Tuesday morning.

Police say a suspect wearing a bandanna around his mouth and a baseball cap held the Jitterz Java at 2135 West Northwest Boulevard at 6:20 a.m.

We're told he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, and was heading west toward the TJ Meenach Bridge. No one was hurt.

Police are on the scene looking for him. If you have any information that could help in their investigation call Crime Check at 456-2233.

A criminal up at 6am? Probably high and still awake from the night before.

the news needs to think about what they say before they say it (police are on the scene looking for him) like the crook or more than likely meth addict is just hanging around the scene. (police are searching for the suspect) would be more appropriate i would think.

I am tired of reading how krem or any other news agency does not report or spell or use correct english properly on these pages. It does not matter as long as you are smart enough to understand it. I dont think that any of us have a masters in the proper use of the english language. So, read it, comprehend it, and move on with it. Have a nice day....................

What is funny is the headline, paraphrasing here, "suspect flees after robbery"! Ya think?!?

Im tired of hearing Grace Pena say "booked it" to describe how someone moved very fast from one place to another. Had she reported on t his story she would have said the robber BOOKED IT out of there! Instead of fleeing the scene
