SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane County released the 911 calls from a fight in Downtown Spokane over the weekend that may involve two USC basketball team.

KREM 2 reviewed seven calls that totaled 10 minutes. It’s clear the callers struggled to communicate with each other.

Listeners can hear arguing and what sounds like fighting in the background. Despite the chaos, callers managed to describe the scene.

“9-1-1. What are you reporting?
There’s a huge fight outside of… Guys and girls are hitting each other. It’s a hot mess.”

Witnesses and victims said they didn’t feel like the authorities responded quickly enough.

“Hi. We have called four times about an altercation.
Okay. What address did you give when you called before?”

Dispatchers often tried to get new information from callers, but they were often confused by what had changed.

“There’s already a call. They're asking for law enforcement to go out and see what’s going on. And there’s nobody f****** here.”

The callers’ frustration eventually settled, but the injuries continued as callers tried to explain they were in a new location and ran into the players again.

“I’m sorry. It’s not your fault, but please get down to Satellite because we have one unconscious man.”

Each call offered a similar description, but the first time dispatchers heard about the suspects, even they were surprised.

“You said they’re both like 6-feet, 10-inches?
So they’re like giants?
Yeah (laughs). They look like basketball players.”

Another caller described the suspects as one white and one black man, which does match the description of the two suspended USC players.
