FERRY COUNTY, Wash. -- Phone service including 911 went down Thursday morning near Republic, Washington. Ferry County leaders expect the problem to be fixed sometime Thursday evening.
Emergency calls to 911 are being transferred to Okanogan County in the meantime. Ferry County leaders recommend calling (509) 775-3132 instead of 911.
