KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) — Kennewick police say a blind man and his guide dog were hit by a car while crossing a street. Officers say the dog died but 65-year-old Bernie Vinther is recovering. He was treated at Kennewick General Hospital for a twisted ankle.
Police are investigating the Wednesday evening collision. The driver was from Pasco.
