Names of officers hurt in Wash. shooting released

SEATTLE (AP) — Pierce County authorities have released the names of the two sheriff's officers shot at an Eatonville-area home.

Sgt. Nick Hausner is a 20-year veteran of the Sheriff's Department. He has been transported to Madigan Army Medical Center and is in serious condition at this time. Hausner is married, and has children who are 14- and 12-years old.

Deputy Kent Mundell was airlifted to the trauma center at Harborview Medical Center. He is still in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Mundell is married and has two children who are 16- and 10-years-old.
