Earlier this month, Stark was scheduled to be sentenced for the murder. Instead, she filed several motions making it impossible for the judge to move forward.
The case took another strange twist earlier this week, when detectives from Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit traveled to Anaheim, California to arrest Stark's boyfriend in the case.
Brian Moore is charged with First Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder.
Detectives say Moore conspired with Shellye Stark to murder Dale and collect on the $400,000 life insurance policy that Shellye had taken out on Dale before the murder.
