MILLWOOD, Wash.--A small house fire forced the evacuation of three people in Millwood, just east of Spokane, early Friday afternoon.
Just after 1:30 p.m. light smoke was reported coming from the house at 8419 East Bridgeport, near Vista.
Firefighters arrived and quickly put out a small fire that started in the ceiling of a bedroom.
One person was treated for minor smoke inhalation, but did not go to the hospital.
The house sustained only minor damage.
A cause has not been released.
The Red Cross is helping two adults and a teenager who lived in the home.
