WASART is at the Chelan High School and is taking in companion animals (mostly cats and dogs) displaced by wildfires in the area.

Chelan Co. Emergency Management says large animals are being housed at a rodeo grounds nearby. If you need to bring your animals in, contact Rod Cool at 509-470-0360. If you can, bring their food, but food is available at the rodeo grounds.  If the Rodeo Grounds runs out of room, the Cashmere Fairgrounds will also take large animals.

Countryside Veterinary Clinic in Wenatchee is also helping with small animals.
