LAPWAI, Idaho -- Authorities said three people were injured in a crash on Highway 95 Sunday afternoon.

Idaho State Police said Larry Morrison, 69, was going north on US 95 from the Spaulding Mission Park when Maria Laplante, 44, who was going south, crossed over the center line.

Officials said the cars hit each other on the east shoulder in front of Spaulding Mill Road. Laplante’s car went into the ditch on the west shoulder.

Authorities said both drivers and a passenger in Morrison’s car were injured and taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.
