SPOKANE, Wash. – Travelers will receive another option for flying to and from Seattle starting in the fall of 2014.
Staff with Delta Air Lines confirmed Thursday that the airline will offer round trip flights between Spokane and Seattle. The airline will offer four roundtrip flights starting November 3.
Airline officials said they will operate CRJ-700 aircrafts for the flights. Each plane can carry 65 people.
Only Alaska-Horizon has offered direct flights between Spokane and Seattle since January 2012. Southwest Airlines ended their direct flights on Jan. 8 2012. Southwest leaders blamed high fuel prices and low passenger counts.
