MOSCOW, Idaho – A Moscow man on a mission to collect every known VHS tape of the movie Speed in the world has a new fan.

Ryan Beitz, of Moscow, wants to be the sole owner of every VHS copy of the 1994 thriller starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.

His quest for the collection of the movie is getting national attention including that of the movie’s screenwriter, Graham Yost.

Yost told EntertainmentWeekly.com, “I’m going to see if I can dig up a copy or two to send him. Other than world peace and ending hunger, I can think of no greater cause than what this one brave and visionary man has embarked upon.”
