SPOKANE, Wash. -- A choir from Africa visited Shriners Hospital in Spokane.
The Watoto choir surprised patients and their parents on Wednesday with the gift of song. Each of the children in the choir has lost one or both parents.
The children live in Watoto villages where they receive the care and nurturing they need to grow up as productive citizens of their own country.
They tour internationally to raise awareness about orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa.
