SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane Major Crimes Detectives have submitted charges relating to the armed robberies of two Spokane businesses in May.
Andrew Carr, 27, Marshall Barkdull, 27, are each charged with two counts of 1st degree robbery for their alleged involvement in the armed robberies of Pizza Rita on N. Wall and Herbal Connections on W. Garland.
Pizza Rita was robbed on May 22 and Herbal Connections was robbed on May 27.
Carr's girlfriend was in jail and told police to contact him.
Both suspects are in police custody. Carr was already in jail on an unrelated charge and will be charged with two counts of robbery. Barkdull was booked into jail Friday. He will be charged with two counts of robbery and will make his first court appearance Monday.
Carr was also arrested for the Hot Toddy’s Robbery from June 10.
Carr admitted to police to robbing Pizza Rita and that he worked with Barkdull on all three robberies.
The owner of Pizza Rite said back in June he was offering a reward of 1,000 pizzas in exchange for information that led to an arrest. Right now, he said it is too early to give out any pizza.
