SPOKANE, Wash. -- A former Gang Unit Prosecutor was brutally attacked outside his Spokane home on August 18.
Authorities said he saw three suspects outside of his home and went outside to ask what they were doing. The former prosecutor was then assaulted.
The Spokane Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has no suspects and no leads. Authorities do not know if the attack had anything to do with his position in prosecuting gang members.
Detectives said the beating was severe. The victim suffered a concussion, multiple bruises and cuts. He also suffered memory loss as result of his concussion.

The victim no longer prosecutes gang related crimes. He currently prosecutes property crimes.
