COEUR D'ALENE -- The Spokane Bomb Squad detonated a suspicious device found in Post Falls Wednesday afternoon.

It was found on the 1000 block of East 3rd, near a water station. The Spokane Bomb Squad was called in before 12:00 p.m., and the device was detonated in a nearby field.

Officials have not said whether the device was an explosive or not, but according to a witness, a law enforcement official told her it was a "man-made device."
